About MAF Exhibition

The MAF Exhibition is an art exhibition sponsored by the Foundation for Promotion of Video and Art, which is chaired by Shigeru Ishiba, Member of the House of Representatives. It has been held since 1981 and will be the 46th time this year. The works exhibited are a combination of the 2D art division of 3D art such as painting, photography, and video, the 3D art division which is 3D art such as sculpture, 6D virtual reality (VR), and XNUMXD physical image in reality There are works of XNUMX-dimensional art as artistic expression.

Overview of exhibited works

We exhibited 3 works of digital art. Each of the three works is a children's work in the programming class "Sutemukurabu" for young children, a child's work in the programming class "Programming Kids" for elementary school students, and a programming class "Code of Genius" for junior high and high school students. Sutemu Club provides programming education curriculum for preschoolers, certified children's schools and preschools. This time, we exhibited the work by 29 children of the Meiteru Kindergarten, which continues to study at our Stem Club, as "Sutemu Club Meisei Kindergarten".
The Meisho Kindergarten, which is surrounded by the great nature of Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, enjoys the richness of nature while also studying the latest programming every week. Nature, ICT (information and communication technology), and friends. We sought to find out what true happiness and happiness are in the future, and finished it together.

"Dreams, hopes, and futures expanding with IT" (works by elementary school students)

The programming kids were created by 10 children from Ikejiri Ohashi school, Mizonokuchi school and Mirai kids Bodhi school.
While ICT is rapidly developing, the ego is finally trying to wake up in elementary school. The depth of my heart that I want to stay unchanged, and the desperate struggle to avoid missed rides. This is a collaborative work that uses programming to express emotions that sway in the depths.

Code of Genius made a VR work using the programming that four students are learning in their regular classes.

About the Foundation for Promotion of Video and Art
